Founded in 2023 by Ned Thomas, Sunshine Sound Systems was born from a simple mission: bring Ibizan energy to the Costa Blanca. Since then we've had the privilege of organising festivals and parties in the region.
We're more than a sound company. From sunrise sessions on remote beaches to underground warehouse raves, we deliver state-of-the-art audio experiences thanks to our roster of world-class DJs and collaborations with industry leaders. More than just music, we create moments and memories.
Whether it's an intimate rooftop gathering or a multi-stage festival, we bring the same level of passion, precision-engineered sound, and unshakeable energy to every event.

DJ DAN CAT
Dan Cat is an experienced house and techno DJ who first rose to prominence as one half of the London-based duo Cheshire Catz.
Recognized by Mixmag as Future Heroes and featured in DJ Mag, the duo built a strong reputation through residencies at iconic venues such as Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, and Egg, as well as international performances and collaborations with leading names in the electronic music scene.
Now based in Spain, Dan continues to bring his signature sound to Costa Blanca, holding residencies in Javea and Denia. Known for his ability to blend house, electro, and techno, he delivers high-energy, refined sets across weddings, private events, and club environments.

Lee has over 20 years as a professional DJ and Event manager. He works with venues of all sizes and can provide multiple sound and lighting systems to perfectly suit your event.
Lee regularly works with international clients from a wide range of countries and cultures. For example Germany, Holland, Belgium, Venezuela, Colombia, Poland, France, Spain, UK and more.

Zoe Degens is a photographer and videographer who thrives in the energy of events. From DJ sets to packed dance floors, she captures the movement, atmosphere and connection that make each night unique.
Blending into the crowd, she documents events as they unfold, keeping things authentic and full of life. Her style is vibrant, dynamic and focused on the experience, turning moments into visuals that bring people right back to the night.

ALEXANDER "NED" THOMAS
NED is the music loving Founder of Sunshine Sound Systems with three decades of business expertise.
Having retired from his professional job in London in 2018 he moved to Costa Blanca and as an entrepreneur wanted to start again. With a rich family history in the music industry he decided to look at the local entertainment world. Meeting some interesting creative DJs, musicians & film makers he was encouraged to start a DJ & Sound Business with them in 2022 and the Company has never looked back. with his business skills & the passion & excellence of the creative team the Company has gone from strength to strength creating extraordinary events entertaining the people in venues across Costa Blanca & Ibiza.
MHENARD "DOODS" UBAY-UBAY
DOODS is the OPERATIONS LEAD at Sunshine Sound Systems. Known for being a workaholic operator and TikTok Creator, he handles operations, marketing, and all technical matters.
